The Art of Skyscrapers

Photojournalist form Milwaukee WI, Lewis Hine was well known for his photography of the child laborers in New York. However, while in New York Hine was hired to capture the construction of the Empire State Building. In these images, you see the vast landscape of New York as workers sit, climb, and hang off this tower completely unharnessed and without fear. Including some well know images this series captures firsthand the Empire State Building towering over the rest of New York.
